We, Castello di Corbara, are a winery from Orvieto, Umbria, Italy dedicated to produce high quality wine in limited quantity. Our vineyards enjoy excellent exposure of various altitude and they are constantly monitored throughout the phenological phases as we aim to build a sustainable wine production with the utmost respect to the environment to express our love to both the grapes and the land. Firstly, our wines align with your interests in authentic wines that express their terroir and we share the same love for creativity: Our flagship wine "Orvieto Classico Superiore DOC" is an Orvieto classic and we have constantly monitored the microclimates of our vineyards, reproduced and transplanted the original biotype to maintain the unique characteristics of the grapes and the quality of the wine. We also produce Lago di Corbara DOC, an exclusive red wine that can only be produced by wineries located near the small lake Lago di Corbara. We have created "Orzalume", an intriguing white wine that carries the same characteristics as a red wine thanks to the malolactic fermentation process and the resting time inside the French Barriques.
