Biography of Castello Monterinaldi

Beautifully located on the hills of Chianti Classico, with the feet 260 m above the sea level and the head 200 meters above, I'm Castello Monterinaldi. I'm family owned by Ciampi family since 1961, I am made up of woods, olive trees, a small lake and 50 hectares of organic vineyards able to produce the best wines in the surroundings. I host Sangiovese for most of my vineyards, some vines exceed thirty years of age, because I want to put in the grape the real taste of Tuscany: I love the sun because it gives strenght to wine, I love the rain, I love the fog, the cold in winter and the extremely hot in summer, because that's what my vines need. If I'm so fascinating it's because of centuries of tradition and thanks to Mauro Bennati, the agronomist and enologist, who takes care of me every day. If I were an animal, I have no doubt, I would be a Turtle, one of the oldest animal on earth. Like the Turtle, I am wise, I never stop, I know how to live long and I walk slow and steady. I'd like to find partners all around the world, to learn from them, listening their stories and sharing mine. Growth does not happen alone, it must be shared. Have you ever bet on a Turtle?
