Château Soleil and Château Croix du Rival were born from strong friendships around Didier Miqueu and Stephan von Neipperg. The two properties are located on typical Saint Emilionnais terroirs. They are the result of meticulous and passionate research into the great forgotten terroirs of the Bordeaux vineyards.

They acquired Château Soleil in 2005, a renowned property located on the best terroirs of Puisseguin ; the area of ​​around twenty hectares has always been considered one of the best in the appellation; they decide on a major investment program, in the vineyard and in the cellar, to best express the magnificent potential of these terroirs.

They finally chose two vineyards near Saint-Emilion: first in Puisseguin, then in Lussac, they discovered soils and vines worthy of the best classified growths.
