Vinification:
Long maceration & fermentation, after malolactic fermentation, wine matures in barrique barrels
Aging: Wine ages in barrel 15 till 24 months, depends on the estimate of the winemaker.
Tasting notes:
Reflects the best possible relation between wine and wooden barrel. This is a reverse selection of production, oak barrels were selected. To have best influence of the wood on the wine. Released after many years of ageing, this wine is strong, complex, with many layers of aromas. It has all that Plavac Mali should have, silky tannin structure, sun, sea,
and a firm body.
Food pairing:
Best combination with dry aged steak or red meat.
