ONCE UPON A TIME
a small stone farmhouse, on the top of a hill, surrounded by forests of locust trees, oaks, wild cherries and ... still hills, up to the sky. Immediately it seemed to us that we had been catapulted into an enchanted world, inhabited by fairies and goblins, those goblins that as children we had the opportunity to know in the stories of the old sages of our beloved Carnia. Hence, the name Lis Fadis (Le Fate) and the desire to give our wines the name and image of as many elves.

Lis Fadis winery fairytale begins on a May day in 2005 when, after a long search, we set our eyes on this little corner of paradise ... and is located on the hills of Spessa di Cividale del Friuli (Udine-Italy) in the earth of Colli Orientali del Friuli.

The property is of 17 hectares, 10 hectares under vines and we cultivate native varieties as Refosco dal peduncolo rosso, Schioppettino, yellow Tocai and international varieties as Merlot, Pinot Nero, Sauvignon and Chardonnay.
The harvest is manual and after fermentation, the white wines are aged in cement tanks and the red wines refine in wooden barrels of different sizes.

We choose a different refinement for each wine, from 6 months to more or less 4 years.
The wines are ready to be sold after about at least one year in the bottle.

We produce 20,000 bottles.

THERE IS ALWAYS A NEGOTIATION POSSIBLE IN PRICE WITH SUFFICIENT QUANTITY, WITH IMPORTERS.
