PAGO DE THARSYS Winery dates back to 1808, and is excavated out of the huge limestone bedrock underlying the entire estate and the surrounding 14 hectares of vineyards. In 1991 Ana Suria and Vicente García decided to rebuild and improve the old winery, equipping it with the necessary resources to make wines that highlight the special features of this unique site. We are proud of being pioneers in making sparkling wine under the Requena Cava Apellation of Origin, and developing the concept of Vino de Pago in our region. We are a part of the wine-making history in this region, and we continue to work with the same passion as on the very first day to honour it.
