B1ockOne 2010 Bordeaux Cabernet Franc is almost a unique wine from the world's most prestigious and largest vineyards. Cabernet Franc is one of the three top grape varieties used in Bordeaux blends but less well known than Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Less than a dozen 100% Bordeaux varietal Cabernet Franc wines are produced. 2016 was an all round successful vintage for Bordeaux and Paradise Rescued, rounding off a nice hat-rick of vintages. The first half of the season was wet and cold but great flowering conditions followed by a warm dry summer with cool evening conditions setting up a great run into harvest. Commendation Winner, International Wine Challenge 2020 London Media tasting reports “The stunning Paradise Rescued B1ockOne 2016 amply demonstrates the subtle charms of this lovely grape: elegant, smooth red and black fruit flavours, medium bodied, with characteristic hints of spice and chocolate with a lovely fresh vibrancy.” Terry Kirby, The Independent Nov 2020 “Paradise Rescued B1ockOne exhibits one of Bordeaux wines most attractive features : that combination of ripe red and black fruit with appetising freshness and some food friendly tannin…” David Williams, Guardian Newspaper UK Nov 2020 ABV 13.0% Vintages available: 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016. Only 2016 and more recent vintages for release soon are available for sale in France. All vintages are available for export to the rest of the world.
