Quinta da Seara

Located in the demarcated region of Douro, in Vila Seca, Armamar (recognized zone as Natural World Heritage - UNESCO), Quinta de Seara produces a range of excellent quality wines, from Table wines to Reserve wines. The cellar is set on the top of a hill, surrounded by vines modeled in terraces so that they can be preserved from erosion, and a wonderful view over the Douro River. The vines are composed by a combination of new vines, which have been mechanized recently, and old vines which are a few dozen years old. The winery has na area of 14 acres and is dedicated in producing wines for niche markets. The quality of these wines is the result of different conditions, terroir, grape varieties, geographic location, climate and dedicated monitoring.
